Rev Counter?

My rev counter is crazy!

When at lights/stopped, ie handbrake on, in neutral, both feet on the floor.

The rev counter bounces between 1000/2000 rpm?

Does anyone know why this could be. It only does it every now and again but it has done it a few times.

I have also noticed its not always at the same times, i could be driving for a while or only started the car and it will still do it.

Apparently to get wheels onto my car i need "hub locating spacers"? The guy in Enigma told me that but then wanted to charge me £25 per spacer? Does this sound right? Does anyone know?

It seems the hub bit that the wheel actually goes onto is too short and it doesnt catch.

Its all very confusing to me - and now to you guys also!

So anyway have scrapped the idea of putting Marks wheels onto mine, even tho they looked quite good, and in Jan, free wheels is what u r after ...
